School Announcements
Mrs. Carol Peardon, North Ridge Principal
Dear North Ridge Families,
Welcome to the North Ridge Magnet School Community and thank you for visiting our website. We are extremely proud of our magnet school and the many opportunities we provide for students to excel. I am honored to be selected as the principal of North Ridge Magnet School!
As a California Distinguished school, North Ridge is dedicated to provide a challenging curriculum while encouraging continuous learning and developing responsible citizens. Our dedicated staff is committed to working collaboratively to provide an outstanding educational program for each and every student. We continue to significantly surpass the state’s API of 800 with our school reaching 862 as well as leading the district in average daily attendance.
In addition to our exceptional staff, North Ridge has outstanding parents, an active PTA and Booster Club. These groups provide a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities for our students to excel and learn beyond the regular school day. Family events such as Salsa and Harvest Festival, Rocket and Astronomy Night are just a few exciting activities that have become traditions at North Ridge. We encourage you to become involved in North Ridge this year, through PTA, Booster, or as a volunteer or chaperone. Parent involvement truly makes the difference for our students!
Finally, as a reminder, please drive safely when dropping off and picking up your child. Obey all school and traffic rules, and only park in designated areas in the front of the school. Please exercise patience, common sense as the safety of our students is our top priority.
.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children as we look forward to a wonderful year at North Ridge Magnet School. I look forward to meeting you and if you have concerns at any time, please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
Carol Peardon
Principal
